These terms govern the relationship between you ("Client") and Comet SEO Ltd, registered in England and Wales, Company No XXXXXXXX, registered office 71 Somerset St, Northampton NN1 3LW ("Comet SEO", "we", "us").
We provide e-commerce search engine optimisation services delivered digitally. The specific scope, deliverables, and timeline for each project are defined in the accepted proposal or order confirmation.
All prices quoted in Euros (EUR). VAT at 20% applies where the client is UK-based or where UK VAT rules require it. Payment via Stripe (card) or bank transfer (BACS). One-off projects: 100% upfront or 50/50 split for projects over €500. Monthly retainers: billed on the first business day of each month, payable within 7 days. Late payments incur interest at 8% above Bank of England base rate per the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998.
SEO strategies, audit reports, content, and recommendations created for you become your property upon full payment. Our proprietary tools, processes, methodologies, and internal frameworks remain our intellectual property.
We treat all client data, analytics access, and business information as confidential. NDAs available on request. All team members have signed confidentiality agreements.
If you are purchasing as a consumer (not a business), you have a 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. You may waive this right and request immediate commencement of services.
We provide professional SEO services based on current best practices. We do not and cannot guarantee specific rankings, traffic levels, or revenue outcomes. Search engine algorithms are controlled by third parties and change without notice. Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question.
Monthly retainers may be terminated by either party with 30 days written notice. One-off projects may be cancelled before work begins for a full refund. No refund once deliverables have been provided.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
